Recently, the national key R & D project "high efficiency and energy saving technology of motor and motor system" jointly completed by Jiadian Co., Ltd. of Harbin Electric Group, Hunan University and Central South University has passed the acceptance of the Ministry of science and technology.

In the project "High-efficiency and energy-saving technology for motors and motor systems", Jiadian, as a key participant, is responsible for the research work on three sub-topics: "High-efficiency motor system for industrial processes", "High-performance permanent magnet motor system" and "High-efficiency integrated matrix converter-motor system. Through the research of the project, we have accumulated valuable experience for the development of the company's ultra-efficient motor and the improvement of system control technology.

The project "High-efficiency and energy-saving technology for motors and motor systems" proposes a multi-objective design technology for motor systems, and establishes multi-objective optimization design models for efficiency, power factor, and overload multiple of high-efficiency motors, permanent magnet motors, and matrix converters to control motors. Combining innovative technology research with product prototype trial production, demonstration applications are carried out in load occasions such as fans and water pumps, which greatly improves the operating efficiency of motor systems. The development of high-efficiency and energy-saving motor and motor system technology is one of the effective ways to solve the energy shortage and reduce carbon emissions, and the high-efficiency and energy-saving technology of motor and motor system can effectively promote the development of motor drive industry to a low-carbon and efficient direction. Studying the high-efficiency and energy-saving technology of motors and motor systems is the need of national strategy, industry development and market traction, and plays a very important supporting role in my country's economic and social development, technological upgrading and industrial upgrading.
